System AI is an independent publication about artificial intelligence. We cover the news as it lands — new models, research results, industry moves and policy — and publish explainers that make that news make sense.
Why we exist
Most writing about AI falls into two camps: breathless announcements or dense academic papers. The people actually deciding how AI gets used — product teams, founders, analysts, operators — are left somewhere in between.
We fill that gap twice over. Our news coverage goes back to the original announcement, says what actually changed, and names what the announcement leaves out. Our explainers take a single concept, show the mechanism behind it and the trade-offs, and end with takeaways you can act on.
Our editorial principles

Clarity over hype
We explain how things work and where they break. Vendor claims are reported as vendor claims. If something needs a caveat, the caveat goes in the article, not in a footnote.

Accuracy over speed
We would rather skip a story than publish something we cannot stand behind. When a source does not give a detail, we say it was not disclosed instead of guessing.

Useful for decisions
Our readers build, buy and govern AI systems. We write so that each article helps someone make a better decision on Monday morning.

Independent by design
Advertising may support the site, but advertisers never see, shape or approve our editorial work.
How we work, and where AI fits
Sources
We start from primary sources — the announcement, the paper, the documentation — not from other people’s coverage. Every news article lists the sources it was written from.
Drafting with AI
Articles are drafted by our own system, built on a large language model, under rules it cannot bend: use only what the source says, attribute every claim, never invent a number, a price or a quote, and say plainly when something was not disclosed.
Editorial control
Our team decides which sources we follow, what gets covered and how we write about it, and we correct anything a reader flags as wrong.
Maintenance
AI changes quickly. We revisit articles and mark them as updated when we make meaningful changes.
