FAQ

Questions readers ask us

How we work, who we write for and how you can get involved. More about us.

Where does your news come from?

We monitor primary sources every day: announcements from AI labs and cloud providers, university research offices, institutes and standards bodies. We write from the original announcement rather than from other people’s coverage, and every news article lists the sources it was built from.

Do you use AI to write?

Yes, and every article says so. Our articles are drafted by an in-house system built on a large language model that works from primary sources under strict rules: no invented numbers, no invented quotes, every claim attributed to whoever made it, and the sources listed on the article. Our editorial team sets those rules, decides what we cover, and corrects anything readers flag.

How often do you publish?

News goes out as stories appear, typically once a day. Explainers — the evergreen guides that make the news make sense — are added regularly and updated when the underlying technology changes.

Do I need a technical background to follow along?

No. We write for curious professionals first: product managers, founders, analysts and engineers who are new to AI. When a concept needs technical detail, we explain it in plain language and use concrete examples.

Can I publish an article on the site?

Yes. We welcome original, well-researched articles about artificial intelligence from practitioners and researchers. Use the form below to send a short pitch; we reply to every proposal that fits our editorial guidelines.

Are articles sponsored or paid for?

Our editorial content is independent. The site may display advertising to cover its costs, but advertisers have no influence over what we write. Any sponsored content would always be clearly labeled as such.

How do I report an error?

Accuracy matters to us. If you spot a mistake or an outdated statement, send us a note through the contact form with a link to the article. We review every report and correct confirmed errors promptly.

Is the content free to read?

Yes. All articles are free to read without an account. You may quote short passages with a link back to the original article; republishing full articles requires our written permission.
